Joe's Jeans Introduces Their Skinny Micro Flare Jean JOE'S.MICROFLARE_AdCampaign.jpg

Joe’s Jeans has introduced a new denim silhouette, their Skinny Micro Flare, which is a fitted jean from hip to thigh then finished with a slight 17-inch flare that starts just above the ankle. The jeans are available in Black, Tanya, and Brigitte washes. The new cut will run you about $170 and is available in the Joe’s Jeans online store.

This is one of my favorite new denim styles available for Spring 2011 and Joe’s version of the baby or micro boot is in my top 5 favorite renderings of this chic new silhouette.

Isn’t a 17″ flare the same as what everyone else calls a “bootcut”?

While 17 inches is common as a boot-cut opening, the difference in this silhouette compared to the regular bootcut jeans is that the leg stays very skinny to around the bottom of the calf. The result is a sexy, streamlined skinny jean that flares open just enough to sit on your shoe. These are really sexy jeans. Let me look through all of my images from Coterie and see if I can find a model wearing these.

Thanks for the quick response. I can kind of see what you’re talking about in some of the pics above.

They were so chic in person. I want them. Gotta save up though since I am on a denim ban currently. :(

This is old~! 7 for All Mankind introduced this style back in Fall 2009, it was called the “Rocker”. And after that, many brands started knocking off the same fit (bebe, Express, Dylan George, etc..)

like Jessie said … the difference is in the silhouette. way skinnier at the thigh and knee break then your traditional boot. these will look sooooo hot with heels ladies! do it for the boys and rock these please!
