PRPS Goods is a more accessible line from PRPS. By saying more accessible I don’t mean cheap looking, even though the prices are lower than the PRPS Japan or PRPS Noir line. But to say “cheaper” in this case would not do this line justice. The pieces have the same quality and measure up to the same standard that Donwan Harrell became so famous for. The difference is that instead of heavy Japanese selvedge denim, PRPS Goods uses a lighter denim fabric. In keeping with Donwan’s previous theme of a rugged, oil-stained garage worker, this S/S 2012 lookbook focuses on a rugged, oil-stained fisherman working on his boat. It projects a summer mood, looking at the lighter colored and bleached jeans. For those of you who are not into raw selvedge and heavyweight jeans, you can now wear your PRPS’ in the summer and not sweat!
