When I was at Henry & Belle‘s press preview for S/S 2013, they explained to me about this totally amazing project of giving part of the proceeds of every single pair of jeans sold to the charity of the buyer’s own choice. There is a list of charities H & B support, and these charities are kind of less well known and therefore even more in need of contributions. And you can actually follow your donation online and see exactly where your money is going. Every single pair of jeans will come with the attached tag shown above and will have a code which will enable you to follow your donation. For me, this is the most important thing. I am so done with giving money away for certain “good” causes and then this money ends up paying some admin’s lunch or plane ticket to some kind of charity meeting – well, anything BUT to the real object of my donation.
