Acid wash jeans may still be a niche trend but they are gradually working their way into the mainstream. Here we have a couple of celebs that have decided to give them a trial run. I am not entirely sure that Alicia Keys actually appreciates how on-trend she is wearing these jeans during a recent appearance on BET’s 106 & Park. Pixie Geldof (whom most of you probably haven’t heard of) is one of those low level celebrity/models/party girls that is related to an old rock star (Bob Geldof of Live Aid fame) and she is very much part of the the London hipster scene so she if fully aware of the implications of dabbling in acid denim. Whilst Rihanna shows that acid wash is not limited do jeans by wearing a snow wash “Reenie” denim jacket by Gsus. If you are feeling brave and want to be the first on your block to try this trend then check out these Lux Acid Wash Jean Black from urban Outfitters. And if after wearing them you decide this trend is best left back in the 1980s it won’t be too much bother because these jeans are selling for the only $49.99.
