Lee is expanding its highly authentic Lee Originals : The Archive line for SS10 with a capsule collection of rare Japanese replica pieces will become available exclusively at oki-ni from September 2009. First introduced to the market in 1959 to reflect the diversification of the denim market, the Lee Westerners (sometimes called Lee Whites) were the first white dress-up jeans and jackets. The Westerner pant is a version of Lee’s most revered jeans shape, the slim 101Z. Remade in Westweave Sateen, it is called the 100Z. This is joined by a slim 101J style jacket called the 100J and a Westerner shirt in the same fabric.

The Lee Westerners collection will be available exclusively at oki-ni outside Japan in four colors, tan, ecru, khaki and black.
