There was a time when Esprit was a major force in the U.S. fashion market, especially jeans. In an attempt to make it’s mark again, Esprit has tapped Daisy Lowe and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld for their upcoming ad campaign. Appealing to a younger more edgier demographic by casting Lowe who is a major on the hipster scene both Stateside and abroad and Restoin-Roitfeld who is the daughter of French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld is a wise move. A flagship store is set to launch in New York and as the saying goes “what once was old is new again” may be Esprit’s best tagline yet.
