Kansas City’s Baldwin Denim may have only been around a short while, but they are an ambitious lot. For their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection they are already expanding beyond denim with a selection of men’s shirts, chinos and blazers. The line is all about classic, no-nonsense, wearable clothes that would not look our of place on the racks at J Crew’s – and I mean that as a compliment. Baldwin seem to be evolving into an interesting label and are certainly worth keeping an eye on.

“wearable clothes that would not look our of place on the racks at J Crew’s”..i hate J Crew. I wouldn’t want that association…I think Baldwin’s denim jeans is definitely a little better than J Crews. their shirts and button ups can probably past as J Crew though. Baldwin Denim definitely likes the whole patriotic vibe ..which is cool but I honestly wouldn’t like their brand if the got as big as J Crew. or expanded their line as big as J Crew. Stick to a few good items, innovate and rinse and repeat.
