Carrie Underwood in William Rast Denim Shorts -carrie-underwood-william-rast-denim-jeans-shorts-jt.jpg

Newly married Vegetarian country singer Carrie Underwood performed on The Today Show in NYC wearing a pair of William Rast Scarlet Shorts in Glamorous during her rehearsals. I simply love this wash from William Rast. It’s one of my favorite washes they are doing right now.

  1. “Vegetarian” Carrie Underwood? What does that have to do with denim shorts?

Are we going to be hearing more on here about people being described as “carnivore” this or vegan that? In order to promote some agenda or anotheror commercial message? That in the end has absolutely nothing to do whateversoever with denim or denim choices for attire options – at all.

But then whomever surreally wrote this knew all of that…Goodness gracious.

Surreal. But then the world is morphing into politicially ABSURD labeling just llike this write up – more and more. Would that this writeup were a comedy bit written for Saturday Night Live… or whatever.

    • I agree it is a little random to mention her eating habits in a denim post, but at least it motivated you to leave a funny comment.

    • HA HA HA!! You made me crack up. I guess I mentioned it because it’s just something I know about her. I don’t ALWAYS write so strictly “to the T” about just fashion. It’s okay to mention other things about the celebrity so long as it pertains to them and I still talk about their fashion choices as well. Wouldn’t you say?

It’s the same as saying Supermodel mama before I talk about Heidi Klum or Elle MacPherson. It’s just a bit of extra information that I have about said celebrity wearing denim in the spot. I used the word as a Verb rather than a noun.

I was not cramming any political agenda or personal choice garbage down your throat. Carnivore here, wearing pony skin booties at that, apologies for winding you up. I did not realize the word “Vegetarian” was so darn offensive these days.

Would you have been offended if i titled her newly married? I think I will change this post now. I certainly don’t want any dietary agenda pushed on our fashion forward readers.
