One Culture Denim S/S 2010

I always admire people that have the passion and ambition to start their own denim label, it’s one of those things you have either got to be very brave or just plain insane to do. San Francisco’s One Culture is a labour of love for Founder Mark who started the brand after having been laid off from his previous Office Manager job. These raw denim jeans are made in small batches and are cut and hand sewn in San Francisco. The basic styles of straight and slim-tapered use thread colours to reference Mark’s Bay Area home town (basic brown) and his love of 1970’s nostalgia (beige, olive and brown). The jeans retail below $200 and can be found at The Blues Jean Bar in San Francisco, Santa Monica, Chicago and San Jose.
