I was so excited to review something other than jeans for the first time in over a year of doing reviews. Don’t get me wrong I love jeans, but I was really ready to mix it up. This 7 For All Mankind Cropped Jacket is super cute and I knew exactly how I wanted to wear it from the second I opened the box. I love long dresses and nothing makes me happier than a paisley print, so pairing this Volcom dress with 7FAM’s Cropped Jacket was an easy go (and I admit an outfit I could of worn for the rest of the day too).
I so appreciate the soft design elements on this jacket paired with the leather patching, it feels feminine with a little kick. The denim is a cotton/polyester blend with slight color distressing (think your favorite comfy jeggings) and the fabrication is really well done. I’m such a fan of the yoke in the back, and the leather patching on the shoulder is soft and luxurious (nothing worse than shoddy workmanship). This is a dry clean jean jacket and having ruined something I thought didn’t need to be dry cleaned, I would definitely stick with 7’s suggestion on that. Of course I have Jeffrey Campbell Platforms on, I’ve gotten so much wear out of these particular shoes they have paid for themselves twice over.
7 For All Mankind may be more well known for their more mainstream big selling jeans, but for me it is the edgier pieces from the expanded collection that always catch my eye and keep me coming back for more.
