Hi guys, welcome to my second review for Denimology! For the everyone who I didn’t introduce myself to yet, I am Charlotte from The Netherlands, living in London. I am passionately working on my blog THEFASHIONGUITAR, where I share my personal style and inspirations.
Well, I have to say, congrats to Resin for surprising me on so many levels, in a positive way! Let’s start with the color. We have seen the army-trend for quite some time now; edgy greenish jackets, and skinny cargos with camouflage-prints. I have to admit that I am a huge fan of the greenish sulfur color, which is beautiful, very edgy, very sophisticated, and still classy when combined with heels and a jacket.
Secondly, what made me love this jean even more, are the little details. If you have read my first review, you know I pay attention to details, as I feel this is what makes a jean special. This pair has copper buttons, which look kind of vintage, and are super nice in combination with the sulfur greenish color. But even more special, when you check out the inside of the jeans, you will find something designed by New York street artist. I hear you think, an artist designed the inside of the jeans? Yes, my sources tell me that Resin collaborates with emerging New York artist in designing hidden messages behind the zip and pocket linings! How unique is that?
Now let’s take a look at the fit, skinny jeans are my favorite because they make my legs look a little longer. Which is always a good thing when you are a shorty like me. The fabric is soft, very comfortable, and the back pockets have a good height. Very important to ensure your butt looks good.
Conclusion, this is a great skinny jean, thanks to the unique colour and sophisticated details. A must-have for me, how about you?
