PRPS Goods and Company Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook PRPS-AW11-02.jpg

The “mountain man” look continues for the PRPS model and so do those incredible jeans! Unfortunately, this lookbook just doesn’t do justice to how fan-tas-tic the washes of these jeans really are, as it is almost impossible to show on a picture the subtleties of the details. But let me tell you: I have seen those jeans up close and personal, touched them and “felt” them. I’m not kidding here. There is an unbelievably personal touch given to every single pair of jeans that Donwan, PRPS’s owner and creator, produces. He showed me a rack in his office where he hangs all his personal jeans, all worn for different lengths of time. Each pair is faded naturally depending on how long he wore them before washing them. And the jeans he produces are a direct result of his own experience with the different “wears”. In case it’s not obvious, I really, really love PRPS!
