Hey dolls! I am ecstatic to share with you a mah-jor new denim brand by the name of Bleulab. Founder and inventor, Carl Jones, created this reversible denim line with today’s women in mind — adventurous and always on the go! That’s right, I said REVERSIBLE DENIM. All of Bleulab’s styles can be worn TWO WAYS! Perhaps I’ve been hiding under a rock, but this is the first I’ve heard of a reversible denim line and I think it’s about time, don’t you??!!

When I first glanced at the Bleulab Shortcut Reversible Shorts in Paint Splatter I thought to myself, “Cool, another pair of shorts to review!” Then I picked them up and read the tag and realized they were reversible and I was excited! Finally we have designer denim that takes versatility to a whole new level. I mean, yeah… we have brands that create styles with a classic or minimal approach and it allows the wearer to style the jeans multiple ways. But to have a pair of denim that has TWO looks in one is in-sanely ah-some!

One side of this pair of Bleulab jeans is dark indigo, while the other is whiskered and distressed with paint splatter. If you are going for an edgier vibe, then wear the paint splatter side. If you want a classic jean short, then wear the indigo side. I think this jean line is the solution to a lot of our problems. Especially when it comes to the dreadful task of packing your suitcase for a vacay! Just think about it, no more rolling multiple pairs of jeans to be able to fit more options in your suitcase. If you had to pack for a week-long trip, you could just pack two pairs of Bleulab denim and you would be set! You would have a total of four pairs of denim to mix and match throughout your vacay! I don’t know what justifies spending $100 + on a pair of designer denim more then when you are getting two pairs of denim for the price of one.

This pair of Bleulab shorts is 96% cotton and 4% elasterell, giving them the perfect amount of stretch. The fit is true to size, and they are extremely comfortable. The rise isn’t too high or too low – they sit nicely on my hips. I would prefer them to be a tad longer because they do feel itty bitty, but now that I’ve had the chance to try this brand, I’m craving more! I hope to get a chance to try a pair of skinny jeans from Bluelab because this brand rocks! What’s your opinion on reversible denim? I’d love to hear your opinions. 🙂
