Hey lovelies! I just came back to Florida from my trip to NY last week and I had an amazing time! Fashion week in NY is an experience that I think every fashionista should go through at least once in his/her life. Lincoln Center was surreal. I had so much fun photographing inspirational style and meeting super friendly bloggers from around the world. Of course, I cannot forget to mention how fabulous it was to see up close celebs, designers, and models. I had to pinch myself.
Now I’m back to reality and I’m anticipating cool fall weather so I can break out my chunky knits and of course, fave JEANS! When I found out I was going to receive some Juicy Couture jeans to review, I was ecstatic. I have yet to try on a pair of jeans by Juicy Couture, and I was pleased to finally get the chance. I’ve been a loyal fan of Juicy Couture since high school. I own accessories, tops, and of course the famous velour track suits — so naturally, I had to finally add their denim to my collection. 🙂
With fall upon us, I am lusting over classic preppy pieces – cooler weather just brings the true Southern Belle out in me, because that’s when I sport my button down Ralph Lauren shirts, my wool Burberry blazer, and my riding boots. When it comes to classic pairs of jeans, the first thought that comes to mind is TROUSERS! Trousers PERIOD are timeless and chic, but when they are combined with denim the result is refined and sleek. Basically you can imagine my pure joy when I received these Juicy Couture Wide Leg Trouser Jeans.
I love a great trouser jean, simply because it’s one jean I feel is appropriate to wear to the office on days other than the usual “casual Friday.” At the same time, trousers are versatile and look just as great when paired with a tank and wedges. The look is the epitome of effortless style.
As excited as I am about fall and these trouser jeans, I knew the Florida heat would disable me from executing my ideal look, so I decided to pair the jeans with a vintage tank to keep myself cool and comfy.
When I first slipped these Juicy Couture Wide Leg Trouser Jeans on, I realized they were my new faves. These jeans slipped on so nicely – I could instantly tell the fit was perfection because they hugged my every curve, but the wide leg kept them modest. They have great stretch to them and the welt pockets (my fave!) just make you want to strut your stuff down the street with your hands in your pocket like it ain’t no thang! 😉 The dark wash (Anisa to be exact) is what I look for in a good pair of trouser jeans. It gives them more versatility and just screams “expensive!” However, the price tag on this pair is spot on. Being Juicy Couture I knew it would be high quality, but the price is still very reasonable. What I also love about these jeans is the simplicity. The pink contrasting stitching is very Juicy-like and adds a nice element of surprise.
Overall I cannot say enough positive things about these jeans. They are high up on my list of must-have jeans for fall, and I feel they are a pair of jeans that would appeal to all women.
How do you feel about trouser jeans, are you a fan? If you’ve never tried them, now’s your chance! 🙂
