Ribbed Tees - The Perfect Undershirt Classic-White-V-2-Copy.jpg

I don’t do this very often but I am going to go off topic for a little while now and talk about t-shirts. Why? Because I am almost as obsessed about finding the perfect white t-shirt as I am about finding the perfect jeans. You would think a good plain white t-shirt is a simple thing to find, but in my experience the opposite is true. For some reason t-shirt manufacturers seem to be unable to produce a good quality product, with a decent neckline, that actually fits properly and that doesn’t cost the earth. I had pretty much resigned myself to always being disappointed in my t-shirt quest when a mail arrived from a new brand called Ribbed Tees who were making some bold claims about their product. So I threw caution to the wind, placed an order and to my delight found out that their claims actually turned out to be true, these guys really have come up with the perfect undershirt. Ribbed Tees are just that little bit longer than regular t-shirts (so they stay tucked in), have collars which stay flat (instead of going all saggy) and are great quality without costing an arm and a leg. I love the fact this company focuses on doing one thing, but does it better than anyone else in the world. That really is something to be proud of.

  1. I’ve looked for good t-shirts since forever. I only listen to other people’s judgments on good tees _after_ their shirts have been through at least a half-dozen wash/dry cycles.

So, please update this post to let us know how these Ribbed Tees are doing after 5 or 6 laundry days.

    • The t-shirts I have tried have only been washed once each so far. I will definitely update after a couple more washes to let you know how they are holding up.

        • There are 3 types, ribbed, plain (cheap) and plain (expensive). The plain (expensive) wash best, followed by ribbed, followed by plain (cheap).

Overall they keep their shape well, the neck doesn’t bag and they don’t go grey too quickly.

I will be buying more of these t-shirts and am happy to recommend them.
