Hiya fellow denim-fans! It’s been some time since you’ve seen my first review, but I’m back in business and I’m super hyped about it. My week actually couldn’t start any better when receiving my very first J Brand item ever, the J Brand Jersey Jeans Leggings. I was honestly scared for the fit because when it comes to J Brand, they advise you in general to order 1 size down than your true size and with some brands this advice just isn’t reliable because it depends on the model, type etc.
But this time, the advice was perfect because this baby fits like a glove! The name already reveals a part of its secret: it’s a legging. Which also brings me to my favorite aspect of this pair. The stretch covers everything up like a second skin, and it doesn’t stretch out easily. A+. And although it’s called a legging, the front zipper and button fastening, plus the fact that it has back pockets, makes it more a perfect skinny jeans to me. No matter what size you are, it’s really hard to pull off a decent look wearing leggings without back pockets and no cover-up. Luckily you will not have this problem with this pair. The back pockets could’ve been a bit more lower positioned, but when you are a bit more skinny in the back than I am, it will have the perfect position.
The only thing that reveals the legging-type is that the front pockets are faux, but us females don’t need front pockets anyways, right? It’s not so lady-like to stuff them up with cigarettes, phones or lipgloss, we’ve got our bags and clutches for that 🙂
The second big plus is the ultra-skinny lower leg part. I bought a lot of skinny jeans in the past that weren’t as tight around the ankles as I wanted, but this pair met my expectations more than I hoped for. It makes it also more accessible to wear it with higher boots so you can play around with different looks and be more versatile.
In a nutshell: Awesome fit from hip to ankles, doesn’t stretch out easily, and a very feminine cut that shapes your body in a classy way. Big hit!
I hope I helped you out with this review, I know I became a new Jbrand fan for sure 🙂 Till soon!
