Hey lovelies! Fall is settling in pretty nicely in FL. We’ve been lucky to have low humidity and mild temperatures, which sometimes takes until November or December. One thing I love about fall is the fashion. It’s probably my favorite season to dress for, so when J Brand sent me these Jodhpur pants in Vintage Stallion I was stoked because these pants are so perfect for the fall season.
J Brand has top of the line denim, but let’s not forget how awesome their other pants are — remember how popular the Houlihan Cargo pants were??? They practically flew off the shelves, so I was happy to have gotten my hands on J Brand’s most coveted style for fall. I love a great riding pant — they’re classic at best, but they have proven to be quite versatile. The style is so chic and modern — girls and guys are pairing these pants with a wide array of tops and shoes. The riding pant is not just for riding boots and button-down polo shirts anymore.
The feel of these pants is phenom! They are made from 7.5 ounces of Japanese Luxe Twill, which makes them incredibly soft to the touch. They are 98% cotton and 2% lycra, so the stretch is not bad at all. I actually feel like I could have gone up a size though (from a 27 to a 28), because the fit was a tad tight for my liking. This is a style I would recommend trying on first because they may be true to size for some, or might run small for others. I wore these pants all day and they didn’t really stretch or lose their fit at all.
I love the slit back pockets. It gives the riding pant a more modern take. The ankle zippers really add a modern touch as well. I love a good skinny pant or jean with ankle zippers!
Overall I’d say snatch these up while you can because there’s not currently a riding pant out there that has such amazing qualities as the J Brand Jodhpur. If you’re looking for a great pant for the fall and winter months then I’d definitely recommend giving these a shot. These pants look great with sweaters, silk blouses, and even the casual vintage tee. You really can’t go wrong with these.
