Hi guys! I am very excited today to present you with my new review of the Ikat Print Skinny by 7 For All Mankind. The first time I saw these jeans was while I was reading the December issue of Marie Claire. The whole page was filled with very eclectic and colorful pieces in the so “hot” tribal trend. In the magazine these jeans were laid out flat and didn’t look very inspiring. To be honest I can’t say I was very much into this “tribal” thing in general, just not my style. But I changed my opinion after shopping last weekend and visiting the 7 For All Mankind store. The minute I stepped through the door my attention was grabbed by the mannequin upfront in the Ikat print jeans. It was styled very similar to what I am wearing in these pictures so you can see I loved it. I liked these jeans even more after trying them on in the fitting room and the decision was made – I had to get them!
The quality of the fabric is very nice; it is a soft blend of 97% cotton and 3% spandex with a great hand feel, not very thin but still breathable. Just the right balance of weight and stretch allows it to create and keep a very nice shape without being too tight.
I love the earthy color combination of caramel and off-white which looks very fresh and sophisticated. I also find the pattern to be quite slimming, and this is always good, isn’t it? Of course the great skinny fit helps too; legs look nice and lean, booty – round and tight ☺ The cropped length removes any bunching and visually elongates the legs. I picked up these jeans in a size 24 instead of my usual 25 and they fit me perfectly so be prepared to size down when buying them.
Great for cool weather and hot summer days, looks awesome with flats, heels and boots, the Ikat Print Skinny are not just beautiful and comfortable but also very versatile. They became a real special piece in my wardrobe and also the way I discovered a new trend for me – not just tribal, but sexy and elevated tribal.
Thank you for reading my post and I hope to see you on my blog LookYourBestWithMe.
