Hello everyone! It seems London has warmed up a little bit recently, although the warmer weather has still been accompanied with gloomy skies… Can’t wait for some proper sunshine soon!

So the latest pair of jeans I have been sent for review are these specially designed motorbike jeans from ‘Ugly Bro’s‘. Please don’t be put off by the name, as these jeans are far from ugly.

Being designed for those ladies who ride motorbikes, mopeds, or even a bicycle they have a very thick denim which is protective and hard wearing. Surprisingly they still allow a lot of movement and stretch with this thicker denim and remain a nice slim fit.

They are super skinny tight fit and have amazing detailing to the knees and legs. Very similar in style to the designer Balmain biker jeans which were so famous the last few years, only these ones are the real deal! There is a corrugated effect to the knee with stretch to it meaning you can bend your legs easily despite the skinny fit. There is the same effect to the waistband at the back to give ease of movement when sitting down too.

A feature which could put people off buying these as a fashion jean rather than a practical jean are the pockets to the knees which are to put special knee guards in. They make the knee area a little bulky and I personally feel that all the breaking up of the leg is not so flattering and actually makes my legs look a little shorter. I guess for those who don’t mind you could put your phone or purse or emergency lippy in there instead!!

The waistband fits nice and snug and again would be perfect for those who need these as a jean specifically for bike riding. I must say they are not my favourite in terms of flattering the waist and hips but I think this is again due to the reinforcement of fabric in the back.

For those of you who are looking for the real deal in the biker jeans and need a safe and practical outfit to wear whilst riding your motorbike then these are perfect! They get rid of the need to wear unflattering and bulky outerwear for such occasion and instead give you something you can wear both on and off the bike and look very sexy whilst doing so!

The UglyBROS Moto Jeans reviewed here are available online from UglyBros.com.

  3. Hi there!
Is it too much to ask how tall are you and what size you took?

I want to buy some but I’m afraid they’ll be too short since I’m 5’9”
    Thank you so much!
