Hey friends! Spring has officially sprung and I’m already feeling the heat here in Florida! We are experiencing perfect beach weather – 80 degrees! Now if only the ocean waters could warm up a tad, then trip to the beach would be ideal. I’m so ready to trade my pale skin for a glowing tan – who’s with me?
Today I’m reviewing the Current/Elliott Beatnick Jean in Tumpled. This cuffed five-pocket jean is so perfect for this time of year, when the majority of us are beginning to show off our ankles after hiding them through the fall/winter months!
This jean has a nice medium-blue wash with fading throughout that gives it a nice laidback look. I love how this jean almost resembles a boyfriend style, but with a more flattering fit. It’s definitely a jean that hugs every curve. It’s 98% cotton and 2% spandex, giving them perfect stretch. They are comfortable and maintain their fit throughout a day’s wear.
They have an 8″ rise, 15″ inseam, and 13″ leg opening. I think this inseam would work nicely on most heights. The rise is perfect for the laid back style of the jean. I paired these jeans with a vintage bohemian top in a baby pink hue, and some fun Miu Miu heels that are denim and adorned with flowers! My overall look reflects spring and is playful and chic! I can also see these jeans paired with some Chuck Taylors and a slouchy tee, or some fun wedges and a flowy sleeveless top.
Overall I’m quite pleased with these jeans, and I think they are a great spring and summer denim staple to any girl’s wardrobe! I think these jeans are classic, yet on trend. Most importantly, they are flattering and comfortable. I have to say, this is my second review of Current/Elliott denim and I’m becoming quite the fan (check out my previous C/E review). I’m looking forward to reviewing more of their denim.
