When it comes to denim there are some independent stores which may be small but their influence is massive and without a doubt one of the most important is Chuck’s Vintage in LA. I have been writing about them since I started this blog and I am always delighted to have any excuse to remind everyone what a unique and amazing place owner Madeline (pictured below) has created. If you want to know where denim designers go to get their inspiration then look no further than Chuck’s Vintage. As you can see from the photos they stock an incredible selection of vintage denim, leather, workwear and boots. If you want to visit them you should be aware that they have recently moved and the new address is 8012 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles,Cal 90046.

wish we had a store like this here in NYC! I mean there are tons of vintage stores here, but really more like trash-vintage, not cool-vintage! Hello Madeline !!
Thanks for the great Article. Hi Lisette.
Have you also checked out Rufcut in west L.A.? He also moved his store recently due to the Exposition Line construction. http://www.rufcut.com
