Let’s face it, cool denim shorts are pretty irreplaceable for summer. Whether you are spending time by the beach, a relaxing weekend with friends or a fun-filled day at a music festival, denim shorts are a must-have for so many summer activities. Low-maintenance, comfortable and stylish, they are a nice base for the perfect outfit to wear for these joyful and fun occasions. The 7 For All Mankind Josefina Roll-Up in Resin Filter Colorblock shorts are a great choice if you are looking for that ultimate “go-to” pair.
First of all I love the wash! As you can guess from the name it was created using a resin filter technique resulting in the front part and back sides having a very defined and crisp contrast. The darker tone on the sides visually makes you look smaller and skinnier. The front whiskering adds character and a bit of a vintage feel.
The fit is also very flattering. Pretty slim through the top half, these shorts with a 23.5″ leg opening have plenty of room in the thigh resulting in an overall leaner silhouette. The combination of the nice not constrictive fit and soft denim makes the Josefina shorts very comfy. The medium-weight stretchy blend of 98% cotton and 2% spandex nicely contours the body without showing off every single flaw you have (which often happens if fabric is too thin) while also keeping its shape very well. These shorts appear to run true to size; my usual size 24 fits exactly how I expected it to.
In general I find these shorts very hip and stylish. Mix of so “in” colorblock and rolled hem with the aged indigo wash makes the Josefina Roll-up a very trendy and versatile pair of shorts that will be so useful during hot and active summer days.
