In this – more, let’s say, serious looking – collection, MET seems to have abandoned all the rips and tears and holes from the jeans (remember their S/S12 collection!). But no way have they succumbed to the mediocre, mass production boring jeans. Check out what they have to say about their Fall/Winter 2012 trends:
“The overall silhouette is ultra feminine, with laser patterns, metropolitan graphic concepts, ethnic and animal inspired prints, use of skulls and geometric shapes that create an effect of shooting stars. Tencel and Elastane give fibers added softness, bi-colour fabrics create greater contrasts after treatment, while velvets have undergone delicate dyes and treatments. The washes vary from the most traditional with slashing and breakage, to the latest Japanese minimal and American vintage.”
