Andy introduced Pylo here on Denimology in 2010. And I had the great pleasure of personally checking them out at the Coterie trade show here in NYC.

Their story is quite interesting. They started over 30 years ago making jeans for many of the pioneering premium jean brands. They have a very strong belief that their jeans should be totally made in the USA. “Pursue Your Life’s Opportunities” is the motto of their denim line whose objective is to manufacture an authentic, made in the U.S.A. denim jean, with emphasis on quality and a focus on fabric, fit and finish.

And not only does Pylo “take” from the US, they also give:

“To underscore PYLO’s commitment, all our fits are named after American historical figures and all our washes are named after National Parks. PYLO ‘s goal is to donate 5% of its profits to the National Parks System, to help support these great symbols of the USA. We believe in American exceptionalism, the American dream, and are committed to make the best jean available”. A lofty goal, but, then, what’s more American than blue jeans?

Pricepoint is $139-209, and they will start shipping in June to over 50 boutiques nationwide.
