Here is the first, of our two, day 7 Earnest Sewn Denim Challenge reviews. These picture were taken in the rain. We’ve had nothing but storms here in “Sunny” Tampa Bay for the last week. We ventured out to Ybor City for these pictures for a change of scenery. It was a long day of shooting several pairs of jeans but the choice was a good one! Onto my jeans now!
My first impression of my black jeans was fear. I’ve never liked black jeans because I feel like I don’t know how to wear them unless they are skinnies. I dress them like leggings and wear boots. Basically, I can only make them work if its winter. This could very well be the pair that changes my mind.
My odd fear of black jeans started to leave me as I realized I could pretty much wear them dressed up or completely casual after I sanded the knees down. I was shocked that roughing up the knees of a pair of dark as night black jeans could suddenly make them so wearable! So far the jeans have retained their shape and are true to size. The only negative is that these jeans bled a bit during the knee sanding. Other than that I am digging them. 21 days to go!
