To say I am looking less than glamorous in this set of pictures wearing my Earnest Sewn Jeans is less than an understatement. It is SO hot here in Florida right now. You can’t step outside and not sweat immediately. To top it off my air conditioner is broken and I am having fixed as I write full on sweat happening right now. Regardless of my lack of glamor, I can still show you the way my jeans have changed, or rather not changed, over the course of the month.
I wore my jeans for at least an hour each day, all month long. One of the things I noticed about these jeans is how well they stay put. Almost no slippage, much less than an average pair of jeans. I am highly impressed with how long the jeans stay their original color. The main reason why I am not a big fan of black jeans is because they fade very quickly and I don’t really dig that look too much. These jeans changed my perception of black denim. Now, after this experience, I would really love a pair of super flare black jeans, though it does drive me mad how they collect lint. Last thing, after finally washing these jeans all the black ink stopped rubbing off my jeans. Almost no staining on my hands now. I only wish I could wear these jeans more to see how the knees look after a full year of wear on the knees where I sanded them.
