The lace trend is one of my favorites this Spring/Summer season and trust me I have stocked up for it quite well ☺. But with all of the variety of lace tops, skirts, shorts and even jackets, lace pants were not so easy to find. That’s why I was very excited when 7 For All Mankind came out with their Crop Skinny in Black Lace.

Though not so apparent in the pictures, the lace print really is quite realistic. Very detailed without being too contrived, it looks like hand-made crochet in a rich black hue over a white canvas. The sharp contrast helps to bring out every tiny feature of the pattern adding depth and texture to the print. A fusion of retro and modern, this style combines the elegance of vintage lace with the contemporary effortlessness of denim.

The femininity of the print is complemented by the crop silhouette in a skinny fit which is slim from top to bottom. With a lower rise in the front (6.75″ vs 12.75″ on the back) and a quite narrow leg opening of 10″, the overall look is chic and sexy.

These jeans are made of light-weight stretchy denim (98% cotton, 2% spandex) making them easy and pleasant to wear; even on very hot days they don’t feel suffocating. Overall, considering the relatively tight nature of The Second Skin fit, these crop skinnies are really comfy.

I love the whole idea of a lace print on denim. Infinitely more low-maintenance than the real thing and so versatile in a classic black/white combo the 7 For All Mankind Crop Skinny in Black Lace are super cute and versatile! Fun to outfit with bright tops and accessories they are perfect for exploring summer trends!

I am the EU contributor and product reviewer for Denimology. From the time I was 5 years old browsing through my first fashion magazine I knew I wanted to be in this industry. While working as a Merchandiser at Gloria Jeans, the largest denim manufacturer and retailer in Russia, I discovered my passion for denim. It fascinated me then and years later it fascinates me even more. Every day I learn and discover something new and exciting about denim and am thrilled to do it hand in hand with all of you!
