For some time now the majority of jeans I have been buying are skinnies but just a couple of years ago my favorite fit was the flare. Shameful to say, I haven’t gotten a new pair in ages! But these jeans remind me why I love flares so much; they are the 7 For All Mankind Jiselle Phenomenal Slim Flare in Pink Whiskered with a let-down hem.

Trust me the Phenomenal Flare is called that for a reason. So slim through the hip and thigh it breaks just below the knee into a wide, literally phenomenal flare with a leg opening of 22.5″ for a dramatic look. Such contrast also creates quite a slenderizing effect and in combination with the let-down hem makes your legs look skinny and a mile long. And don’t let the 34″ inseam scare you. At first I was a bit worried that the jeans would be too long and that it would be a pity to lose the hem to alterations. But, after trying them on, I found out that even a 3-4″ heel makes them the perfect length!

The wash on this particular Jiselle is quite unique. A beautiful medium blue caste, it has a light pink undertone that is most noticeable in the distressed and whiskered areas. In a very subtle way, this pink tint adds a touch of femininity and finesse.

The fabric of these jeans is a classic blend of 98% cotton and 2% spandex; a medium weight that will work great for both cool spring nights and hot summer days. Strong and stretchy, they will hug your curves very nicely and hold their shape very well.

I am just smitten by this pair of jeans! 7 For All Mankind Jiselle Phenomenal Slim Flare in Pink Whiskered is definitely extraordinary and very special; striking jeans for a striking look!

I am the EU contributor and product reviewer for Denimology. From the time I was 5 years old browsing through my first fashion magazine I knew I wanted to be in this industry. While working as a Merchandiser at Gloria Jeans, the largest denim manufacturer and retailer in Russia, I discovered my passion for denim. It fascinated me then and years later it fascinates me even more. Every day I learn and discover something new and exciting about denim and am thrilled to do it hand in hand with all of you!
