Normally, any completely pink look would be tacky à la strawberry ice cream cone but the way Christopher Kane and J Brand present it, there is nothing gaudy about it. The look is fabulous. Dressed like this, we’re going to cause a lot of poor gawkers to do one too many double takes!
What I like to point out once more: it is not about colors only, or style only, it is about flair and edginess. It’s about how you pair the un-pair-able items. These pink pants have a white flower inset on the legs, which cuts the otherwise solid pink of the jeans, and the sweater is boxy and has extra long sleeves, which gives it a girlish feel, but at the same time, an edgy look. The same goes for the look with the turquoise splashed jeans and a matching darker colored tee.
