I hate to say this, but right now I am a bit bored with what I have seen so far of the fall denim collections. Nothing especially new there, the “newness” is more in the material, like shimmer jeans, and metallic jeans, and silver and gold jeans…..not really my style. I consider myself a REAL denim person, and I want to wear REAL denim. Translate: vintage blue or black or destructed, no stretch, 100% cotton plain old jeans. And this, fellow denimheads, is not easy to find nowadays.
So when I came across these black jeans from Wrangler Europe – all my “blah!” turned into “WHOA!” These jeans have it: they are “real” denim, AND black, AND have these cute buttons on their legs, all of which add a certain charm and really make a big difference.
AND they are not really skinny skinny, but a bit on the slouchy side, which makes them even more sexy looking than any spandex jeans (LOL).
Too bad, I had to roam all the way to Europe to find a classic American brand just to give me a plain old ordinary pair of DIFFERENT real denim jeans!?!? 🙁
Lisette, i agree with you on this.. tina tee 😉
Carolyn, you so got my number:-)
LOL
Thanks tina tee, I love to get support on this “real” denim subject!

Lisette, I LOVE these jeans. Thank you for reviewing them. I so wish
that US jean designers would design more like this. 100% cotton
totally rocks! Yes, “stretch” denim does conform to ones shape and shrinks back during drying, BUT does not last as long and just (in
my opinion) not as comfortable.
To me, the skinny jean has been totally played out. Please…. Lets go
back to quality denim material and the “REBEL” feel that denim used to
be.
