Hey everyone! After weeks of rain and cold weather London is finally warm and sunny! It looks like summer is almost here at last. It’s the perfect time for outside shoots and I can’t wait to review more jeans this season.
The first pair that I got from Donna Ida this time is this fabulous J Brand Ginger Crop jean. It comes in three different colours – vintage green armadillo, pink taupe and the one that I was reviewing, vintage beige tiger eye. The cropped skinny features slant and zip hip pockets and very thin patch back pockets. The jeans are made with soft Japanese Twill with 98% Cotton and 2% Lycra making them super stretchy. The front rise measures to 8″ which makes them mid-waist and with 10″ leg opening the jeans are quite skinny.
I have to point out that these jeans are amazingly soft and I felt quite comfortable wearing them. I am not usually a big fan of cropped jeans but these ones are very skinny in the hem and not too short with 25″ inseam so they fit quite well. The zip detailing on the ankle and pockets adds a very nice edgy look. The jeans run true to size and I felt very comfortable wearing my usual 25. I wasn’t too sure about the light colour at first thinking that it can make legs look slightly bigger. Because of the cropped design and slim fit the jeans turned out looking quite nice despite all my concerns. I also noticed that this colour is very easy to style with any tops and shoes and don’t forget that beige/nudes are very much in trend this season which is another great bonus.
