Denim designers are getting more and more inventive creating garments that are far beyond what has been considered regular womens jeans in the past. Printed, coated, printed and coated, embroidered, you name it; there is a huge assortment of different looks and techniques out there! The liquid metallic program by 7 For All Mankind is definitely one of the most interesting and eye-catching which is why I am so excited to write this review.
Available in a variety of colors from the more traditional Silver and Copper to an unexpected Electric Blue, liquid metallic skinnies really amaze with their dazzling and vivid shine. Such luminosity is not achieved with coating but with actual metallic thread that is woven into the denim, pretty cool, right!?!? Each color is gorgeous but my absolute favorite is definitely the Teal. The vibrancy of this beautiful emerald hue is magnified and intensified by the brilliant glow of the fabric – such a marvelous look!
The 7 For All Mankind Skinny Fit is perfect as usual. Slim through the whole leg with a 10″ leg opening these jeans really fit like a glove. The shorter 30″ inseam and low front rise go with their sexy and modern style. Clean pockets with tonal labels and hardware also complement the minimalistic look – these skinnies definitely don’t need any extra bells or whistles.
As I mentioned before this fabric really is quite special. The whole concept of metallic thread woven into the denim is so novel and innovative resulting in jeans that have a unique molten effect. Although the 78% cotton/20% poly/2% spandex blend is different from traditional denim, the hand feel of the outer surface is still nice and smooth while the inside is absolutely soft and comfortable. The medium weight fabric is also very season appropriate.
The 7 For All Mankind Skinnies in Liquid Metallic Teal definitely have a major wow-factor! Bright and lustrous, these jeans may not be your daily pick for the office but will undoubtedly steal the scene at any party. I am totally in love with this pair and can’t wait to “shine” in them ☺
