J Brand’s Holiday 2012 collection oozes class. There is just no other way to describe these beautifully executed pieces. Jeff Rude’s attention to details and fit clearly show in every pair of jeans. And I am serious when I say I love this collection. I am not a fan of overdone jeans, of too much embroidery or prints or even coated, but I have to give credit when it’s due. Those white coated jeans are the perfect alternative if you want to spend New Year’s eve not in the expected SBJ (skinny black jeans!), but want to “shine” and stand out of the crowd by all means.
Now if you want your J Brands and don’t want to go too dressy, you can still go for those white boyfriend jeans.
BTW: did you know that in Brazil it is a custom to wear white on New Year’s Eve? I used to spend many “reveillons” there in Rio de Janeiro, where you always start off the night at the beach and all the millions of people (I am NOT exaggerating!) wear mostly white. You can see the occasional yellow which symbolizes hope, but mostly everybody is wearing white – symbol of peace.
