It’s hard to imagine the holiday season without glitz and shine so it’s no surprise that even jeans get their festive update. The 7 For All Mankind Skinny in Lilac Glitter is one of those party-ready pairs that are absolutely perfect for all of your upcoming festivities!
These jeans are really beautiful! The pale lilac bordered with light blue is very demure and therefore very versatile. They are almost as simple to outfit as a regular pair of blue jeans but are definitely much more striking. The hand pressed silver glitter shines and glistens under the light to create an “iced” look. Very pretty!
The fit couldn’t be better and works perfectly with this particular style. It’s the skinniest 7 FAM body and really does fit you like a glove without cutting off your blood circulation. It is actually pretty impressive how these jeans almost melt into your skin and create such a nice silhouette. I love the way they shape my tush and elongate my legs (due to the shorter 30″ inseam and narrower 10″ leg opening). The mid-rise with the higher back (11.25″ vs. 6.75″ on the front) is very flattering and will conceal any evidence of a tummy.
The fabric content of these skinnies is 98% cotton and 2% spandex but those numbers don’t really reflect this denim’s level of elasticity – it is very stretchy. To my surprise it is also unbelievably soft, neither the coating nor the glitter make it any stiffer. By the way, about the glitter, despite all of my fears it is set very well and doesn’t leave loads of shimmer on furniture or other clothes.
For those who like to “shine” (literally and figuratively) the 7 For All Mankind Skinny in Lilac Glitter is a perfect pair of jeans. They are an ideal anchor for any celebratory outfit and will be a real life saver in case you’re suddenly invited to an unexpected party. But don’t get me wrong, their time is not over even after the holidays. I’ll definitely reach for them when getting dressed for dinner with my husband or even just on a day when I want to feel especially pretty.
