New Brand To Watch: Bullet Blues unknown soldier cross.jpg

Founded by French native Isabelle Benoit, now living in Florida, Bullet Blues is a very American company, all jeans are made in California. The denim is made of 1% stretch and 99% cotton, and comes from the Cone mill in North Carolina. All of the jeans have rivets and buttons custom-made in Kentucky.

Now, besides giving us beautifully made jeans, there also is a quite inspirational story behind the brand:

– After visiting the American Cemetery and Memorial in Normandy, located in Colleville-sur-Mer, which honors the American soldiers who were killed in Europe during World War II, Isabelle wanted to honor the men who perished in those battles, as well as to express the pride she felt about being an American. She decided that the best way was to create American-made clothing, using American-made resources. And Bullet Blues was born. The name “Bullet Blues” was coined to honor the soldiers, their bravery and their bullets.” –

This also explains the image of the cemetery above. A real story behind a real American brand. I love this! And there is more: Bullet Blues is part of the increasingly powerful movement to keep American jobs here. Like many business owners, Isabelle is committed to producing in the USA, keeping America working, and helping to make our economy strong.

Bullet Blues jeans retail for $160.00 and are available online on their website, as well as here.
