I’m sure all the women reading this review will agree with me when I say that finding a great pair of denim, which also looks great on your bum, can sometimes feel like you’re searching for a needle in a haystack. Well ladies, I’ve found that needle and it’s the Cult of Individuality Teaser skinny jean. Today I’m reviewing their Teaser skinny in Safari.

Cult of Individuality launched their denim line in 2009, so they are still a fairly young brand, but do not let that fool you – they definitely know what they are doing when it comes to designing that perfect pair of denim. They pride themselves on creating denim with unique washes and superior fit. What I love most about their denim is that they’ve managed to give their denim a weathered and distressed appearance, without compromising quality or fit. The denim in this jean is thick, and it hugs your body in all the right places. They are 98% cotton and 2% spandex – the stretch is awesome. I was able to fit into my pre-prego size 27 with ease, and the jeans were super comfy and maintained their shape and fit the entire day of wear.

Now let me get back to my initial statement regarding the bum department. 😉 I have to say that I happen to like the way my bum looks in a majority of denim that I own, but only a small handful of denim really makes me give myself a double take when looking in the mirror. These jeans did just that. I had my baby girl almost 6 months ago, and I’m still trying to get my body back into its previous state. I’m almost there, but I have to say these jeans made me look and feel great! I loved the way they look on my body (and so does my hubby)!

The front rise of these jeans is 7 ½ inches, and the back rise is 12 ½ inches. The leg opening is 12 inches. The wash is a deep blue, but not quite indigo. There’s fading down the front of the legs, starting slightly below the hip and ending at the knees. There’s also some slight fading around the bum area. The pockets are placed in a perfect position, and the design on them is very minimal (which is just the way I like my pockets to look). There’s mild distressing near the front pockets and on the right knee.

The inside of the front pockets is a fun black and white gingham print, and since I’m such a fan of gingham I thought it only necessary to wear my black and white gingham shirt. I dressed up my look with a red lip, sleek shades, a statement necklace, and some open-toe heels. However, these jeans would look equally great paired with a simple tee and some sandals.

I give these Cult of Individuality Teaser skinny jeans two thumbs up!! I loved the fit and wash of the denim, and they made me look and feel great!
