Introduced in 1996, the G-Star Elwood is the first ever 3D constructed denim design. The fit is based on the classic G-Star Elwood loose, yet with a contemporary look due to combination of the tapered leg and original loose top block. Red Listing fabric is an exclusive high quality fabric woven on vintage shuttle looms with a characteristic red selvedge. This Red Listing fabric’s warp is made from three different yarns, each separately indigo dyed. After reunifying the yarn, the warp is dipped 24 times in indigo. Because of the three different yarn counts, the absorption is different per yarn, which creates a very subtle mélange. Inspired by real worn-down G-Star denims, the 14 oz. Red Listing G-Star Elwood is executed in four different washes, from RAW to 5, 10 and 14 years worn. Only 100 pieces of this limited edition G-Star Elwood will be available, equally divided over the four different washes. The 14 oz. Red Listing G-Star Elwood is exclusively sold at the 14 oz. stores in Berlin.
OMG these washes are all amazing, not to mention the Elwood style! Once again, I so wish they did something similar for us chicks, as well. But I am not too upset – The Elwood as it is, looks great on us too, actually I have had one like this for years and it is one of the few pairs of jeans that I will literally wear to death!
