For Spring 2014, we play with the idea of hubris and make inflatable egos visible through an exaggerated silhouette and narcissistic graphics. The collection is confident with an in-your-face aesthetic and kick-ass attitude, channeling bold artists from the 90s. A decisive street look from that time period emphasizes this new direction. Seasonal key colors are black, white and grey marl, where prints play an important part.
It’s been quite some time since we last posted about British brand Pepe Jeans! This time, when I saw their lookbook for F/W 13, I couldn’t resist posting it! Featuring fashion model darling Cara Delevingne and shot on the streets of London, this is a real cute lookbook. The jeans are for the most part somewhat slouchier and Pepe also suggest using rolled up shorts over thick black tights. Oh well, you know, suffer for beauty, right! I just can imagine the trembling and shaking when you try wearing those on a January winter day!
