Triarchy - Spring'14 Press Preview IMG_2143.jpg

During LA Market Week one of my appointments was with Triarchy, a family-owned Canadian brand. I met with Adam, creative director and co-owner, and his sister, Ania, for a preview of their Spring’14 collection. I’ve already reviewed a pair of jeans from this collection and so I was very excited to see the rest of it. I wasn’t disappointed – the product looked fantastic!

I was glad to see that Triarchy’s Spring’14 line is multi-dimensional and appeals to different tastes and preferences. Its styles vary from simple and very minimalistic in soft neutral palettes to bold and edgy novelty designs. Gorgeous snake-skin embossed denim, foil and leather-like coating are the core of the “fashion” part of the collection. One of my personal favorites was the Wood Grain Coated Skinny that looks and feels unbelievably realistic, just like varnished timber. The Smoke Pant also caught my attention with its ethereal, beautiful print. And I am sure a lot of you guys will LOVE Triarchy’s Slim Boyfriend Jean in Destroyed Tie-Dye – besides its cool, spunky design and cut-off hem it is also super light-weight and will be perfect for hot weather.

Great job Triarchy, really well-done! Collections like this really make me want Spring to come even sooner 🙂

I am the EU contributor and product reviewer for Denimology. From the time I was 5 years old browsing through my first fashion magazine I knew I wanted to be in this industry. While working as a Merchandiser at Gloria Jeans, the largest denim manufacturer and retailer in Russia, I discovered my passion for denim. It fascinated me then and years later it fascinates me even more. Every day I learn and discover something new and exciting about denim and am thrilled to do it hand in hand with all of you!
