Canadian brand Triarchy showed their S/S 2014 Collection on the Runway at Toronto Fashion Week by IMG.

“The collection showcased the brands custom print and textures. For women’s, it was all from a wood grain to a crackled concrete all the way to bronze snake print and dusty pinks, grays, and cremes. A particular favorite of ours is the wood grain over indigo.

The men’s collection went towards color for spring and summer ’14. A cotton stretch version of a duck canvas, a deep marine blue and a triumph green all prove wearable and edgy at the same time. The coated colors were also on the runway but in blacks, grays and indigo’s.

Hair and makeup in the show was classic and consisted of a loose french braid with light rose lips and a dark smokey eye. The casual beauty notes highlighted the laid back aesthetic of the Triarchy brand.”

It is so much fun to watch a live presentation of the jeans, you get the idea of how the jeans fit when you actually see someone wearing them. This is not to say that I don’t like the regular lookbooks as well – mainly because there you have the opportunity to check out an item closer and for as long as you want! Ideal is to have both, the video and the lookbook. And Triarchy has both, lookbook to come ASAP – check back here @ Denimology!
