I am so loving Joe’s rolled straight ankle jeans. My favorite denim style is and has been since forever the boy jean. And the wash I like best is any kind of vintage wash, ranging from bleached to dark blue. But it comes to a point, when, no matter what brand, they all start to look the same. SIGH 🙁
So you can imagine my shout of surprise when I saw these boy jeans recently at the Joe’s store. Not only do they have a white hand-painted rolled cuff. They also come in one of my favorite washes, a darker vintage reserve wash, which I had told you about just recently!
These jeans are a straight cut style. They are neither skinny, nor boyfriend. They have a looser fit, resembling a boy jean fit. You can downsize them for a skinny look. But I have tried them on and I prefer up-sizing them even two sizes. Like this they look more casual and work perfectly with some of the Joe’s more “racy” tops, like the Dandy Lace Blouse. The contrast of slouchy jeans and a lace blouse really is quite attention calling.
