Denim that caught my attention: Robin’s Jean – The Graffiti Jean
As you know, I am always on the lookout for new and different kind of denim. Be it in a style, or wash or whatever else you can imagine that makes a pair of jeans stand out.
At the Robin’s Fall/Winter 2014 press preview, it was love and lust at first sight when I spotted those fun graffiti jeans! They remind me so much of those hippie days! Think Scott McKenzie, think “Going to San Francisco”, think Flower Power YAY! I remember looking at all those images and movies and how I loved those clothes and the whole atmosphere they induced.
Well, Robin’s Jean brought back those hippie times, at least, with this creation!
“The “Cassie” fit is a figure flattering high-waisted jean in “Anniversary Dark” wash. This wash is inspired by vintage denim that represents “teenage wasteland” and American youth. Sketches of skulls, hearts and the American flag are drawn on the front and back with the authentic look of washed out denim of a golden era. The name “Robin’s Jean” is artfully scripted in black ink on the front leg.
Made in USA.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to buy these jeans yet, they will be selling only this coming fall. But they do have them in the men’s version here. Personally, many times I even prefer to wear men’s jeans for their slouchier and edgier fit.
