As you could already get the “feel” by watching AG’s recent ad campaign video, the atmosphere is darker, more wintry, set in a cottage, trying to keep warm and maintain the cool in super sexy AG Jeans!
Fall is a collection found in a twilight forest. A rainforest of the Pacific Northwest, with a tall tree canopy, leaves dripping in the mist, multicolored puddles evoking elements of sheen and reflection. Saturated deep colors as at the end of dusk, when the sky is at its deepest blue, just before it turns black. Rich forest greens are found amongst shadows, leaves and bracken underfoot, textures of bark all engage the senses. Trustworthy essentials and AG-ed Vintage washes are paired with prints culled from nature. Innovations are presented in performance fabric and aesthetic avant-garde.
This Fall is a mantra to new bestsellers and a modern sophistication.
A juxtaposition of opposing elements brings energy to the new collection. Tops of lightweight modal, washed silk and linen jersey bring balance to sharp, modern silhouettes and slick-as-ice finishes. Contrast piecing acts as a unifying thread between the season’s debuting styles: the Morgan, a tailored trouser paneled along the side seams; the Ryan, a skinny profile detailed with utilitarian zip pockets and motocross-inspired construction; and the Jackson, a tuxedo-striped skinny.
The collection unveils two innovative new fabric concepts. Digital Luxe Denim utilizes photoreal printing to replicate the weathered appearance of lived-in jeans on our luxuriously soft sateen. AG’s exclusive Contour 360 delivers the newest stretch technology in denim, offering an unprecedented range of movement and flexibility.
The AG man exercises sophisticated restraint this season, opting for timeless designs in fabrics that range from cozy and comfortable to sleek and hardy. Selvage denim with laser aging treatments and custom scraping echoes the imperfect authenticity of vintage wear. New pant additions include the Clairmont, a slim industrial trouser, and the Dylan Cargo, a skinny with a zip pocket at the thigh.
Casual tops comfort in Supima® cotton, sueded heather jersey, and piqué terry, while the colorblocked Inversion Shirt represents the tailored end of the spectrum. Outerwear is a driving force of the collection and the Indigo Herringbone Watchtower Shirt Jacket and Jaspé Fleece Panorama Bomber make noble options for layering in style.
