The Denimocracy F/W ’14 Lookbook is inspired by treasures found at a trendy flea market in Los Angeles. Inspiration is taken from ornate tapestry rugs that tell a lifelong story: rich dried winter flowers, utility railroad stripes, and vintage jewelry in gorgeous jewel tones. Styles, fabrications, and treatments reflect a bohemian flare combined with a modern aesthetic. The color palette contains rich and rustic hues such as scarlet red, indigo navy and chestnut brown.
-“Each step of our production from design to construction occurs exclusively in downtown Los Angeles in the heart of denim manufacturing. All of our jeans are handcrafted by skilled local artisans, making each piece truly one of a kind. We love what the LA community contributes to the end product from the unique washes, dye houses, expert sewers, and trims. Our team is constantly sourcing inspiration from our vibrant and diverse community and incorporate the effortless cool vibe of the downtown scene into our collections. Making our jeans in the US is very important to us because we strongly believe in supporting the local economy. Being based where our goods are produced allows us to control these processes and the premium quality of our product.” –
Denimocracy jeans have been spotted on quite a few celebs and bloggers in the last few years. The combination of edginess and comfort absolutely make them the perfect pair of jeans for most situations in our lives. And, hey, I am talking from my own experience! I have worn Denimocracy jeans since they first came out with their outrageous kickass prints a few years ago!
You can purchase Denimocracy jeans from their brand new website, which they just launched last week.
