FRAME, the London-Los Angeles brand, presented “Shades of Light” for their SS’15 New York Fashion Week presentation.
This season FRAME debuts its transition from denim to lifestyle brand, introducing many more collection categories including knitwear, leathers and dresses. The color palette is a melange of light and muted tones; optic and Spring white, a spectrum of grey, blush pink and a play on blues from azure to indigo.
The brands silhouettes have a hint of influence from the 70’s, the decade that denim became chic, and this season Design Director Nico Peyrache and the team, take a trip to the Côte d’Azur. Nautical stripes feature on 100%linen tops and tees. Billowing floor-length, shirt dresses in silk. Shirting evolves with playful high and low tails, reminiscent of a concert pianist.
FRAME’s much-coveted jumpsuit resurfaces; its flattering high cut waistline, which elongates the legs, is accentuated by the brand’s new high-shine gold hardware. Variations on the jumpsuit come in an apron dress, skinny de Jeanne and flare cut pant.
Looking at these images, I cannot believe that we still have to suffer through a horrible winter and all before diving into any shades of light!
This beautiful collection won’t be available in stores for a few months yet. But you can purchase current Frame denim styles here.
