I’m back with another review for American Eagle Outfitters, and today’s jeans are the definition of amazing you guys- no joke! American Eagle Outfitters Denim X Jegging in Light Azure is so soft, so stretchy (without the shapeless, saggy issues) they need to be in everyone’s closet, like yesterday (how are they not sold out?). I am a huge fan of jeggings, and as I’ve shared before, I love this medium blue color—I swear it goes with everything, can be worn to football games or out to dinner, and it fits like a glove. American Eagle Outfitter’s denim X is a new, revolutionary high performance stretch, and all I know is I am completely in love. It’s going to be hard to wear any sort of jegging after these, they have this butter-y, velvet-y feel to them (sidenote: I was wearing them during an unexpected downpour sans jacket, and they totally dried in like 3 minutes) that makes me think I might be able to sleep in them. I have no plans to, but they are really that soft and comfortable 🙂
American Eagle Outfitters is so on the ball this season when it comes to denim, and this pair is my absolute favorite of the line so far. These jeggings are 58% Cotton, 33% Modal, 7% Polyester and 2% Lycra, which is the equivalent of denim comfort heaven. I love how affordable they’ve made these as well, although I think they are completely on par with all of my high-end pairs that are four times the price (so it kind of feels like you’re winning the lottery, just a little bit). Many of the reviews on the AEO website say they run small—mine are a 4, and I am usually a 2 or a 4 in American Eagle Outfitters, so I’d probably agree with that theory. These are one of the first pair of jeggings I’ve ever worn that can be worn well with tall boots—no stuffing them in issues or weird bunching. The pictures in my review show them worn both with boots and with dressier shoes, but I’ve been wearing them lately with boots (even wellies!) and they work perfectly.
The American Eagle Outfitters Denim X Jegging in Light Azure has real front and back pockets (which is nice if you like pockets on your jeggings), and a destroyed knee, though I think that each pair probably differs slightly. I love how slimming these are, another huge plus in my book. Comfort and stretch are meaningless if they aren’t flattering too—and I think these are definitely that. If you’ve been on the hunt for a new pair of jeans to wear with boots, or just a really comfortable jegging—you must order these (before they really are sold out!)!
