FRAME, the London-Los Angeles denim brand, with celebrity fans including Cameron Diaz, Miranda Kerr, and Beyonce has teamed up with Australian actress Phoebe Tonkin. Phoebe, star of the hit TV show “The Originals”, stars in the second installment of their “Girls in FRAME” series, a trio of short films. This is the follow up to their June 2014 debut campaign, starring Hanneli Mustaparta.
The concept devised by FRAME founders Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson is inspired by Warhol’s iconic ‘screen tests’. Shot entirely in monochrome by rising director Matt Baron, each of the three segments allows Phoebe to evoke an emotion: be that ‘happy’, ‘sexy’ or ‘angry’. This second installment celebrates FRAME’s new Resort collection, which launched last week. Phoebe is captured as herself, in head-to-toe FRAME DENIM.
