Volcom Vorta S-Gene Jeans in Dark Brown Review

Hey everyone! Justin here reviewing a great jean hand crafted by Volcom. I’ve been eager to review some of their denim and now I have the chance. I’ve been a huge fan of their tees, board shorts and hats over the years and have always noticed the great quality. The jeans I’m reviewing today are called Volcom Vorta S-Gene Jeans in Dark Brown and the fit is a Slim Straight Leg.

I am not one for the slim fit but these jeans blew me away. The comfort is great with a lot of flex in the waist, knees and crotch area. I especially noticed the comfortable waistband when sitting. The design is also great: deeper pockets, a button that had some give to it, and the zipper is heavy duty. The jeans look great on too! They really mold and conform to your legs when you move around. These jeans will get a lot of use and I wouldn’t mind picking up a few extras in the different washes/color. You cannot beat the lower price tag either!

The jean is comprised of 91% cotton, 7% polyester, 2% elastane. The Vorta S Gene offers superior stretch unsurpassed recovery and a patented technology courtesy of their exclusive Cone Denim. They bring you a slim torso, a relaxed rise and a straight leg.

The Vorta S Jean offers you a 15-inch leg opening and a 15.5 inch knee and a 34” inseam. They also used a 3-needle V-stitching at the back pockets. The zip fly has a indestructible metal button buckle. They market this jean as the “ultimate denim skate pant”. I’m not into skateboarding anymore but am very active. I know when I’m wearing these jeans that I can count on them being comfortable and looking good. Which is great because I do have an active toddler, so it’s nice to know there’s a pair of denim that is functional and looks great on when I’m chasing her around the park.

If you’re looking for a great quality jean that gives great comfort, pick yourself up a pair of these Volcom Vorta S-Gene Jeans. There are quite a few washes to choose from! One thing I forgot to mention is the hidden cell phone pocket stitched into the front right pocket. This comes in handy for me because I have my money clip, cell phone and keys in the same pocket. Now I can separate them with ease. It’s the little things that sets these jeans apart from the others. Overall a great jean that I will get tons of use out of. I can’t wait to pick up a few more pairs!
