I’m back with another fabulous pair of Parker Smith jeans to share with you guys, and these are just as good as the last pair I tried! Parker Smith really does make the best jeans – soft, comfortable, functional, and so easy to take from day to night. I’m sharing the Parker Smith Ava Skinny Jeans in Washed Sky, and I’m really loving this darker color! It can easily work as a dressier pair of denim, and the mid-rise on these means absolutely no tugging issues!
These jeans are made of 65% Cotton, 33% Tencel and 2% Spandex which allows for a really amazing fit. They are very stretchy without being shapeless, I am not kidding, you could wear these jeans every single day and they’d still have that “fit like a glove” feeling. The rise is 9.25” and the inseam is 30”, which is just a bit longer than my previous pair of Parker Smith jeans. They allow the option to role (love these rolled with a pair of booties), so the extra length is a bit more versatile. For the taller ladies (I’m 5’3”), these would be more of an ankle length denim. The “washed sky” color is described as a medium blue, though they do feel a bit darker to me. As I’ve shared before I tend to gravitate towards lighter denim, but I really love this shade for the winter months. I love that there’s no squeezing into issues with Parker Smith denim—they really know how to make jeans that are constructed well, hold their shape, but also are so forgiving. Mine are a size 4, and I definitely feel they fit true to size. Gone are the days of having to lose 5 lbs for your favorite jeans to fit—these are like leggings in that regard, but you’re still wearing denim!
Having launched in 2014, Parker Smith is one of the newer denim brands out there, and I am so happy to have found their jeans (and apparently so is Sharon Stone!). I love how their jeans are made for real women, but I also love their mission of designing and operating out of Los Angeles – the brand believes in supporting local designers, sewers, production, dye houses and manufacturers. While these jeans are not a budget buy, they are well worth the investment, and I love that I’m supporting the company and all that they represent.
If you need a last minute holiday gift this season, these jeans are completely worth it and will make any gal feel her best!
