Just after Asics launched their Japanese denim sneakers, now Nike has come out with a denim sneaker as well! Super cool, the more options, the better!
Doesn’t it seem like whenever a retro model comes out from Nike Sportswear, it always end up finding denim on at least one of its new colorways? It’s the case once again for the return of the always popular Nike Air Max 2 CB ’94, the classic Charles Barkley signature shoe. We’re not sure what Sir Charles has in common with black denim, but here it is on the upper of the CB ’94 nonetheless. It’s paired with black suede and bronze accents for a decidedly lifestyle aesthetic on the former performance hoops sneaker. Are you a fan of the denim? Or is it time to retire the “put-denim-on-every-sneaker” approach by the Nike retro department? Check ‘em out and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
You can find the Nike Air Max2 CB ’94 Black/Bronze now at select retailers like Foot Locker, but you probably have to wait in line for them, as it seems thy are pretty much sold out.
